Heavy Horse Rallies

Vintage tractor and steam rallies are a focal point for farmers and families to visit and see a wide array of vintage tractors and steam engines in their original form, some working and some not. These rallies have been popular for many years and recently the organisers have asked for heavy horses to be part of the shows. Horses were replaced by steam engines and tractors and it is an honour to be asked to be part of such beautiful displays of history and its progression.

Honiton Hill Rally 2024

Honiton Hill Rally

In 2024 it was the 50th anniversary of the Honiton Hill Rally, Lunar and Queenie were asked to be part of the onsite Heavy Horse Village. The Heavy Horse Village is an area where the general public can meet the horses, talk to the owners, take photos and learn more about the heavy horse breeds and how they have been used throughout history.

Lunar and Queenie took part in this event and it was an absolutely amazing experience for them both; they were involved in in hand demonstrations, parades and ridden demonstrations throughout the weekend and both thoroughly enjoyed all the attention from the general public, both young and old.

Steam & Vintage Rally

We were asked to attend the Norton Fitzwarren Steam and Vintage Rally.
